Wafer Tumbler Lock

To prevent the lock from opening without a correct key, Wafer Tumbler Lock uses a set of flat wafers. The design of Wafer Tumbler Locks uses a series of flat wafers to hold a cylindrical plug in place. To open wafer tumbler lock a key must have notches corresponding to the height of the hole in each wafer.

Only trained and licensed locksmiths can easily re key these wafer tumbler locks. To re key a wafer tumbler lock, a locksmiths has to replace all the wafers with identical wafers and cut a new key matched with the wafers.

Master Key
